What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and not meeting conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay monthly rent for October 2022 on or before October 1, 2022, breaching the conditions of the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 10, 2023. The Tenant must pay $17,290.82 to the Landlord, representing rent arrears up to January 30, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $62.02 per day from January 31, 2023, until vacating the unit. If not vacated by February 10, 2023, the Landlord may enforce eviction through the Court Enforcement Office.
