What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on March 2, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 1, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,686.88 plus $16.04 per day starting April 21, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 1, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by May 1, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
