What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay $3,500 towards arrears by November 30, 2022, failed to pay lawful monthly rent by December 1, 2022, and failed to pay $300 towards arrears by December 1, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 27, 2023. The Tenant must pay $11,635.60 plus $31.10 per day from March 17, 2023, until move-out. If not vacated by March 27, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement. The Tenant has until March 26, 2023, to file a motion to set aside the order.
