What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on October 19, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 1, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $10,070.26 in rent arrears and $32.52 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting January 22, 2021 until the date they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 1, 2021, they will owe interest starting February 2, 2021.
