What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 13, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $15,215.25, which includes rent arrears, compensation, and NSF cheque administration charges. The Tenant must also pay $30.97 per day for use of the unit from February 3, 2022 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 13, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest. If the unit is not vacated by February 13, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
