What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The previous order EAL-95098-21 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by July 31, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,279.79 in rent arrears and application fee, plus $6.74 per day in compensation for use of the unit from July 21, 2021 until move-out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 31, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
