What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by April 3, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,436.12 for rent arrears and application fees, plus $9.96 per day for compensation for use of the unit from March 24, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 17, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest, and the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
