What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on July 25, 2019.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by August 16, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,882 in rent arrears, plus $34.16 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting August 16, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 16, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
