What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. The Tenant must pay $5,917.20 to the Landlord if the tenancy is terminated, plus $2.79 per day for use of the unit starting October 25, 2022. If the Tenant does not pay or move out by November 11, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
