What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant permitting a guest, JM, to the rental unit who shot the Tenant with a BB gun on July 26, 2020, and then allowing JM to return to the residential complex on August 24, 2020, which seriously impaired the safety of the Tenant and other residents.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 16, 2020. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by September 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not vacate by September 30, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
