What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. Landlord also applied to terminate the tenancy for personal use and persistent late payment of rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2016. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,393.02 plus $62.47 per day starting January 22, 2016. If the Tenant pays $5,870 by January 31, 2016 or $7,770 by February 1, 2016, the Tenant can void the order and continue the tenancy until January 31, 2016.
