What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions specified in the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 23, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,952.92 in rent arrears and application fees, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay $29.40 per day in compensation for use of the unit from December 1, 2021 until move-out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 23, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
