What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent, substantial interference with the Landlord's lawful right to show the unit to prospective buyers, and damages to the premises.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 13, 2016. The Tenants must vacate the unit by that date. If they do not, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $72.33 per day for use of the unit after January 14, 2016 until they move out, and $170 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owed by November 23, 2015, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
