What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay to the Landlord $5,351.07, which represents the amount of rent owing up to May 31, 2020, less the rent deposit. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlord $20.00, which represents the total charges related to NSF cheques tendered to the Landlord by or on behalf of the Tenant. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before December 12, 2021, the Tenants will start to owe interest.
