What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on March 6, 2020 with respect to application SWL-40778-20. The Tenants did not pay $1,000.60 in arrears by the specified date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $32,047.96 plus $27.57 per day starting August 6, 2020 until they vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 16, 2020, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting August 17, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by August 16, 2020, the Landlords may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction starting August 17, 2020.
