What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant has paid all rent arrears and the application fee, and the Landlord asks the Board to grant relief and permit the tenancy to continue provided the Tenant pays new rent on time and in full going forward.
The ruling
The tenancy will continue provided the Tenant pays new rent on time and in full for the period November 1, 2020 to October 31, 2021. If the Tenant fails to make any one of these payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board within 30 days for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
