What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying the specified amount. If not voided, the Tenants must move out by March 15, 2023, and pay $22,076.24 plus $30.30 per day from January 19, 2023, until they vacate. The eviction can be enforced from March 16, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
