What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 21, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $198 in rent arrears, less the $149 rent deposit, plus $4.90 per day in compensation starting December 11, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 21, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
