What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant did not pay the rent owed from December 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $23,000 in rent arrears and $175 in application fees by October 18, 2020. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by that date, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
