What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to an alleged assault with a sword on June 30, 2020, which seriously impaired the safety of the Landlords and other tenants.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 9, 2020, and the Tenants must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 9, 2020, they will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
