What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on November 9, 2020.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 2, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $9,562.48 plus $55.89 per day starting January 23, 2021 until they vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 2, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by February 2, 2021, the Landlords can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
