What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's involvement in drug trafficking, which substantially interfered with other tenants' reasonable enjoyment and the Landlord's lawful rights, and caused damage to the rental unit door.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 20, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $676.14 for the cost of replacing the damaged rental unit door, $186 for the application filing fee, and $573.97 for use and occupation of the unit from November 12, 2022 to February 6, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest owed. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $10.26 per day for use of the unit starting February 7, 2023 until the Tenant vacates.
