What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued on February 26, 2020.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 6, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,095.27 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) for rent arrears, application fees, and compensation for use of the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 6, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
