What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The previous order allowed the Landlord to apply to terminate the tenancy without notice if the Tenant did not cease excessive noise and disturbances in the common areas.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 16, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $46 in outstanding compensation for damage and costs, plus $4.01 per day for use of the unit from February 6, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 16, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
