What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The previous order allowed the Landlord to apply without notice to the Tenant to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant if the Tenant did not meet certain conditions.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before February 7, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $510.70, which represents the unpaid compensation for damage and the costs related to the application fee for the previous application. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $3.91 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting January 28, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out of the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing on or before February 7, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest.
