What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to rent arrears. The Tenant paid all arrears eligible for collection before the Board, for the period ending August 31, 2021 after the application was filed. The only amount outstanding is the Landlord's cost of filing the application.

The ruling

The order is limited to costs only and not eviction. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 19, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
