What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants did not pay the rent owed for the period from March 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020. The Tenants had paid all arrears for the period ending November 30, 2020, after the application was filed.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 14, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
