What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 14, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,195.80, which includes rent arrears up to May 3, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $46.80 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 4, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant pays $10,137.11 on or before May 14, 2021, the eviction order will be void and the Tenant can remain in the unit.
