What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TNL-25079-20) issued on February 1, 2021. The Tenant failed to pay rent and arrears as required by the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 19, 2022. The Tenant must pay $2,821.76 to the Landlord, plus $40.47 per day from February 9, 2022 until move-out. If not paid by February 19, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction with the Sheriff starting February 20, 2022 if the unit is not vacated.
