What happened

Landlord applied for an order to require Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed NSF cheque charges.

The ruling

The tenancy was terminated effective September 20, 2021, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $4,252.00 in rent arrears, $7.00 in NSF cheque charges, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 30, 2021, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
