What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (EAL-93906-21) issued on July 27, 2021. Tenants failed to pay $200 arrears and $2,000 rent by December 1, 2021, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 29, 2022. Tenants must pay $8,383.56 plus $65.75 per day starting January 19, 2022, until they vacate the unit. If full payment is not made by January 29, 2022, interest will be charged at 2% annually from January 30, 2022. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 30, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
