What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords and Tenant filed a written agreement with the LTB to resolve the Landlords' application.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $1,981.00, which includes $1,795.00 for arrears owing up to January 31, 2023 and $186.00 for the application fee, according to a payment schedule. The Tenant shall also pay the full rent on or before the first of each month from February 2023 to August 2023 or until all arrears are paid, whichever is sooner. If the Tenant fails to make any of the required payments, the Landlords may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant, or they may ask the LTB to reopen the application.
