What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Tenants had paid all arrears for the period ending May 31, 2021 after the application was filed, so the order was limited to costs only and not eviction.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $20.00 for the administration charge related to an NSF cheque and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by July 10, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
