What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant has been late in paying rent multiple times over the past year.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 30, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $36.65 per day for use of the unit from March 31, 2021 until move-out, as well as the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owed by April 30, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
