What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The parties reached an agreement at the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2024. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement starting June 1, 2024. The Landlord is to waive all rent arrears up to January 31, 2024, as well as the rent for February, March, and April 2024. The Landlord is to apply the rent deposit to the May 2024 rent, and the Tenant is to waive any interest on the rent deposit.
