What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated, as of March 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before March 31, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before February 28, 2020, they will start to owe interest. If the unit is not vacated on or before March 31, 2021, then starting April 1, 2021, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced.
