What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay $800 by August 15, 2021 and the September rent by September 1, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 28, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,149.65 plus $26.24 per day starting September 18, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 28, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
