What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was for the Tenants to control excessive noise emanating from the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before February 15, 2022. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $44.69 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting February 5, 2022 until the date the Tenants move out. The Landlord or the Tenants shall pay any amounts that become owing as a result of this order.
