What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by the Landlord's child. The Tenants requested a review of the original order.
The ruling
Order SOL-21126-21 issued on July 27, 2021 is cancelled and replaced. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $2,500.00 on or before November 27, 2021, which represents compensation the Landlord paid the Tenants on July 13, 2021. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before November 27, 2021, they will start to owe interest. The Landlord's application is dismissed.
