What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants had paid rent late every month for 12 months, but had been paying on time since receiving the N8 Notice.

The ruling

The Landlord's application for eviction was denied, and the Tenants were ordered to pay rent on time for one year. If the Tenants fail to comply, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
