What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 20, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $633.12, which represents the rent owing to September 9, 2021 and the Landlord's filing fee, less the rent deposit and interest owing on the deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $55.89 per day in compensation for the use of the unit from September 10, 2021 to the date that he vacates the rental unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by September 20, 2021, he will owe simple interest calculated from September 21, 2021 at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
