What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant remained in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out by August 21, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,770.59 (less any amounts already paid), $37.13 per day from August 11, 2021 to the move-out date, and $186 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 21, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by August 21, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
