What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The application was resolved by order SOL-09347-19 issued on January 29, 2020. The Tenant requested a review of the order, which was heard on August 25, 2020.

The ruling

The request to review the previous order SOL-09347-19 was denied. The Tenant was ordered to pay $150 in costs to the Landlord due to their unreasonable conduct of not notifying the Landlord that they would not be attending the review hearing.
