What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord the lawful rent in full and on time for each consecutive month commencing October 2021 and continuing through September 2022. If the Tenant fails to make the payments as ordered, the entire balance will become due and payable, and the Landlord can apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy.
