What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite proper service of notice. The Landlord provided evidence of multiple attempts to negotiate a payment plan with the Tenant, but received no response.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $18,209.60 by October 18, 2022. If not voided, the Tenant must vacate by October 18, 2022, and pay $14,408.09 plus $59.26 per day from September 28, 2022, until move-out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting October 19, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
