What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement issued by the Board on February 20, 2020 with respect to a previous application.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 22, 2020. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $9,236.24, which represents the rent owing up to August 11, 2020 and the costs related to the application fee for the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $64.41 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting August 12, 2020 to the date the Tenant moves out of the unit.
