What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant for interfering with others, damage, or overcrowding. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 14, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $1,839.79, plus $47.70 per day from September 4, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The Tenant must also pay the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 14, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
