What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlords also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 4, 2021. The Tenants must pay $35,000 to the Landlords, which includes rent arrears, compensation, and NSF cheque charges, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenants pay the full amount by May 31, 2021 or June 4, 2021, they can void the eviction order and continue the tenancy.
