What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and for substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $6,578.36 by December 12, 2022 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenant does not void the order, the Tenant must pay $3,297.65 to the Landlord and vacate the unit by December 12, 2022. The Tenant is also ordered to pay the Landlord $739.53 for unpaid water bills by January 15, 2023 to avoid further termination.
