What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The parties had agreed to a repayment schedule the night before the hearing, but the Tenant was not present at the hearing.
The ruling
The Tenant will pay the rent arrears of $12,301.89 through a repayment schedule, with the final payment due by November 1, 2023. If the Tenant fails to make any of the scheduled payments, the Landlord may apply to the LTB for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
